Rhinoplasty in Seoul: What a One-Month Follow-Up Can—and Cannot—Show

Planning rhinoplasty while visiting Seoul involves more than choosing a look from a short video. This DI Plastic Surgery case shows original patient footage before surgery and at a one-month follow-up, with English labels. The separate cover is an AI-generated visualization, not a clinical photograph.

What to discuss before travelling

Ask the treating surgeon how your own nasal bridge, tip and breathing function will be assessed. Discuss realistic goals, alternatives, surgical risks and what changes may be feasible for your anatomy. A video of another patient cannot predict your outcome.

Plan time for follow-up

The nose can continue to change as swelling settles, so a one-month appearance is not necessarily the final shape. Before arranging flights, ask your clinical team when the consultation, procedure, early review and any further follow-up may take place. Your itinerary should allow for the surgeon’s individual advice.

Know the risks

Rhinoplasty can involve bleeding, infection, breathing difficulties and other complications. An individual consultation is necessary to discuss suitability, recovery and what to do if unexpected symptoms occur. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
