KOMD JOURNAL

Have a clinic in mind? Just get in touch.

Already chosen a hospital or clinic in Korea? Send KOMD its name or website. We help organize your inquiry and contact the provider you choose. Your first message starts the coordination process; it is not an accepted appointment.

What should I include in my first message?

Include the exact clinic name or website, the branch or city, preferred dates, your preferred language and a way to reply. A provider’s own website helps us distinguish similarly named clinics. Please leave medical records and sensitive health information out of the initial inquiry.

Who confirms treatment and local prices?

The medical institution decides medical suitability and confirms treatment scope, its Korean local rate, applicable taxes and appointment terms. KOMD adds no extra connection fee or markup. Consultation and treatment are not free; optional transport, accommodation or interpretation arrangements must be confirmed separately, including availability and any cost.

What happens after I send the clinic name?

  1. KOMD identifies the requested provider and organizes the coordination question.
  2. We contact the clinic locally to check its consultation process and available next steps.
  3. You review the clinic’s response, written quote and booking conditions before deciding. The institution accepts the appointment and gives preparation instructions.

Response times and availability vary by provider. Sending an inquiry does not imply that every clinic is a KOMD partner or guarantee a consultation date.

When should I arrange travel?

Wait for the clinic’s confirmed appointment. Ask its medical team about preparation, follow-up and suitable travel timing for your individual plan. Review separate cancellation and payment terms before committing to flights or accommodation.
