What Kind of Organization Is KOMD?
KOMD is a medical travel coordination organization, not a clinic. We learn about a patient’s requested specialty, travel dates, preferred language and support needs, then help establish communication with suitable medical providers. After a clinic confirms the medical plan, KOMD can coordinate selected travel and communication services around the appointment schedule.
Diagnosis, treatment eligibility, procedure selection, medication, risks, expected results and clinical aftercare are determined by the treating clinic and its licensed medical professionals. KOMD does not diagnose patients or guarantee a medical or aesthetic outcome.
Registered Coordination for International Patients

Registration does not replace a patient’s own review of the clinic, treating professional, written treatment plan, costs, risks and follow-up policy. These details should be confirmed before non-refundable travel arrangements are made.

How an International Patient Journey Works
- Initial inquiry: KOMD reviews the requested specialty, dates, language and travel-support needs.
- Clinical consultation: The patient is connected with a medical provider that can assess the request and explain the proposed plan.
- Written confirmation: The clinic and service providers confirm appointments, quotes, inclusions and relevant terms.
- Travel preparation: Selected transport, accommodation and interpretation are coordinated around confirmed appointments.
- Stay in Korea: KOMD supports practical schedule communication while the clinic provides all medical care.
- Return-home communication: When needed, KOMD helps relay non-emergency questions and information supplied by the clinic.
What KOMD Coordinates—and What the Clinic Decides
KOMD coordinates travel, appointments and communication. The treating clinic remains responsible for medical assessment, informed consent, the procedure, prescriptions, complication management and clinical follow-up. Patients should receive the clinician’s identity, proposed treatment, alternatives, material risks, expected limitations and written aftercare instructions directly from the medical provider.

Costs, Terms and Personal Information
Before payment, patients should receive written information showing medical fees, separate coordination or travel-service fees, included and excluded items, payment recipients, cancellation terms and the process for schedule changes. An online estimate is not a final medical plan or guaranteed price.
Health histories and facial or body photographs are sensitive information. Patients should be told why information is collected, who will receive it, how it will be stored and how correction or deletion can be requested. Detailed medical information should not be sent through an unverified public account.
